How do I make the double-sided photo frame charm?
The double-sided sterling silver charm is a unique item in that it can be made two ways. It comes with a clear plastic insert. If you want to make this item very quickly, or have the option of changing the photo later, you can use this option. Just insert your photos (one for each side) into the frame, and cover with the plastic sleeve. To keep the photo from falling out of the frame, you can cut some leftover photo paper about twice the size of the photo you are using, and fold it in half to fit between the photos. This should keep it from falling out. You can also crimp the top of the frame together.
If you would like to use the clear coating for a more permanent, high quality finish, follow the same steps as above except exclude the plastic sleeve and cover one side with clear coating. Wait twenty-four hours and then coat the other side. You can see a tutorial and some tips on how to use the clear coating here.
